A Selene Blues est la première exposition personnelle de Giulia Essyad (*1992, Genève) dans une institution. A cette occasion, l’artiste transforme le premier étage de Friart en environnement dédié à l’univers d’une saga héroïque-fantaisie dont elle est l’auteure, l’actrice et la directrice. Dans un musée du cinéma à l’abandon, ou à la première d’un film qui n’existe pas, décors publicitaires, produits dérivés et reliques font tomber les barrières entre divertissement, science-fiction éco-féministe et critique institutionnelle.
