Dog Heaven 2 : How Sweet the Wound of Jesus Tastes ist Hamishi Farahs erste institutionelle Ausstellung und eine Fortsetzung der ersten Einzelausstellung des Künstlers in Europa im Jahr 2015 in Brüssel. Die Ausstellung bringt neu in Auftrag gegebene Malereien und weitere neue Arbeiten zusammen.
Hamishi Farah ist ein*e autodidaktischer Künstler*in, dessen konzeptuelle und figurative Malerei sich innerhalb der Produktion einer Politik sowie Philosophie von Repräsentation abspielt. Seine Arbeit richtet sich im Besonderen auf das libidinöse Nachleben der Kolonialität und das Eindringen dessen durch zeitgenössische Kunst.
