A Selene Blues ist die erste institutionelle Einzelausstellung von Giulia Essyad (*1992, Genf). Der Raum im ersten Stock der Kunsthalle wird zu einer Umgebung, die einer heroisch-fantastischen Saga gewidmet ist, mit der Künstlerin sowohl als Autorin, Schauspielerin und Regisseurin. In einem Museum des verlassenen Kinos, oder bei der Premiere eines Films den es nicht gibt, durchbrechen Werbekulissen, Merchandising und Reliquien die Grenzen zwischen Unterhaltung, ökofeministischer Sciene-Fiction und Institutionskritik.
